If you think I want to molest John Carmack...you are RIGHT!!
I'm not really going to E3 so much as I'm going to Mecca, to the Promised Land, Heaven....home. I've been reading about and following the adventures of E3 for years now, and never really thought I would have the oppurtunity to actually attend. There are going to be so many cool people and companies there. John Carmack, Hideo Kojima, Will Wright, Sid Meier, Warren Spector, Gabe and Tycho, and His Holiness Shigeru Miyamoto, to name a few. It's like taking all of your real life superheros and putting them all in one building for you. That's just what it's like. Maybe I'll even get to see John Romero. Neil, Layman, and I will exchange a knowing scoff and then continue on our way to the Volition booth where Neil has basically gotten us backstage passes. Presidents of Computer Science clubs at major universities know how to get things done...
Oh, and if you don't know...don't ask. It's not for you.
I'm also going to assume it is going to be rather neat to be hanging around LA for a few days, especially with our hotel about 1 mile from the beach.
